Camerata Quartet
The history of the 19th and the first half of the 20th century music has still many secrets and white spots.
On the infamous list of composers unjustly forgotten there are names of two artists from the turn of the 20th century: Roman Statkowski and Witold Maliszewski. We produced the world premiere recording of their forgotten works performed by Camerata Quartet – one of the world’s most famous string quartet.
I hope that these works, brought back to life in a masterly performance, will be warmly welcomed by music lovers, and both artists – Statkowski and Maliszewski, will permanently enter the canon of world’s chamber music.
